Do you sometimes read non fiction on subjects you normally wouldnt purely because you like the author

I have read all of Jon Krakauers books - on subjects I wouldn't have normally sought out. I just get his next book regardless of what it's about.
Do you read non-fiction books in this manner? Or are you always driven my subject matter?
