Yes. I also get books for my kids, and often for other people too.
When I finally started Christmas shopping, I went into the bookstore and found 4 books that sounded great. I'm still not sure who they are presents for.

So far I have bought a book for my partner (a book of Aussie tales). I have bought some blinky bill books for our nephews in England. And a fairy tale book for our nephew in Melbourne. I will likely get books for my own children. I'm also hoping to receive some books myself - on gardening.
Never buy books for anybody, as could be wrong theme, so buy Gift Voucher instead. That way, recipient can self-choose!
