The year is speeding along and it seems like I blinked and missed February. For those of you who still find (or make) time to read, what are you reading this month? Would you recommend it?

I'm studying at the moment, so I don't have a lot of time to read for pleasure, but that doesn't mean I've cut it out entirely. I'm still reading Mad Hatters and March Hares, which I started a while ago. It's a collection of short stories (edited by Ellen Datlow) inspired by Lewis Carrol's Alice books. So far I've liked some of the stories a lot, others not so much, as is the usual way with anthologies.

I've also read a couple of comics recently, including Jim Henson's Labyrinth 2017 Special (short stories inspired by the movie Labyrinth) which was a lot of fun. I probably wont' start any novels for a while since I need to focus on writing assignments and I'm sure nobody wants to hear about the journal articles I need to plough through.
I've been reading across a few different genres lately- young adult fiction, children's picture stories, crafting books and the occasional non-fiction book about animals. So many books on my list and not enough time to read them all in!
I'm reading the new Allende - it's ok and History of Cranky Women - fabulous idea and introduction - not as into the stories as I hoped...
