The Tao of Pooh.
I got this book from a weird little shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The Collected Strangers in Paradise (a comic series). There are 19 volumes of it so I may be at it a while.
Same books I was reading in June! I really am slow. I have added a rereading of Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 to the mix though.

Oh! Vee, enjoy! Saw '1984' as a play recently; haven't read book for awhile. Forgot how powerful it is!

Saw 'A Clockwork Orange' as a play last year. It was brilliantly done.
These two books, along with 'Lord of the Flies', were books for study when I was 17, & they've stayed with me ever since!

donjo, I have not heard of 'A Clockwork Orange' nor 'Lord of the Flies'. Are they similar to '1984' in the themes they explore?

Oh! Vee, kind of, yes. Only because they're about one person bossing others' around, in very cruel psychological & physical ways. Google them.

When 'CO' came out as a movie, there was hell to pay!
Malcolm McDowall was the star.

I'm reading a slightly obscure manga series called 'Swan', by Ariyoshi Kyoko. It's all about ballet, and in only a few days I'm up to the fifth volume because I'm enjoying it so much. Definitely one for ballet lovers, or anyone who has ever wanted to know more about ballet.
Just finished Life on the Pharm by Damien Rentoulle. Reading a couple of Fables (comics) then starting the Harper Lee....
