What are you reading in December 2016?

I'm partway through The Narrative of Sojourner Truth (a biography of the American civil rights activist), which is terribly sad, but interesting, and also The Intersection of Law and Desire by Jean M. Redmann, which is a detective story set in New Orleans, the third in the Micky Knight series. So far it's a lot of fun, kind of what I was looking for as a holiday read (not that I'm on holiday exactly, but my kids are, so our whole family schedule is different for the summer, gives a different feel to life).

I'm continuing on my manga reading spree- the artwork in some of them is incredible and the stories are becoming a lot more involved as I get further into them! Over the Christmas break, I am also considering reading some of the books that have been sitting on my shelves for a while. Unfortunately I might have to do a cleanout soon and I'd like to read each book at least once before saying goodbye to it!
