Self-Help books are available on almost any topic one wishes to seek help for.

Do you read self-help books?

Do you believe that such books can truly help people or are you more of the opinion that each person's individual experiences are for themselves and even if shared, they cannot make a difference in another person's life?

Only in the last few years and now I love them. I normally have a self help book going and a fiction book as well so I can switch between the two. I like having the physical self help books so that I can circle things in pencil and highlight sections also. I would only do this if i was going to be keeping it of course hehe.
My favourite self help book so far is: 'Change your Thinking' by Sarah Edelmen try it out it's amazing!
I've never bought them personally, but we have a few in our house that I have read. I have never found any of them any use whatsoever.
I have done, but I didn't find them very helpful (unless you count parenting books, I found one or two useful things in those). However, I have been inspired and comforted by novels, poetry and biographies. Sometimes the right book just finds you at the right time.
I used to read some of these however do not read them anymore as they did not really help me, and I found them rather boring after a while.
