Do You Find Parody Books Funny?

The saying goes, ‘Imitation is the greatest form of flattery’. But what about mockery?

Over the years, there have been countless parodies published that mock some of the more popular book releases. These books include (but are not limited to) such titles as Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games and Fifty Shades Of Grey. Children’s titles have also been targeted in recent years, with parody versions of classics such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, Hairy Maclary From Donaldson’s Dairy and Where The Wild Things Are hitting the shelves.

What do you think of these alternate versions? Have you read any of them? Do you think they are clever? Do you think they are funny? Are there any other popular books you would like to see parodied?
